The PKKP Aboriginal Corporation administers the traditional lands and waters on behalf of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people and the Pinikura people. These lands and waters cover approximately 10,888 square kilometres of Western Australia’s Pilbara region, between Onslow and Tom Price.

Type of vacancy: part time, for a fixed term of one year

Job description overview: this part-time position will support the Corporation’s newly established Culture and Heritage Unit. This support can include logistical, communications, administrative, data management and record-keeping. It will involve support for on-country Aboriginal heritage survey projects for mining companies in the first instance, plus the Corporation’s own environmental and cultural projects on-country with our Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura members.
